- Richard, Gabrielle
Curious, I am attracted by everything that surrounds me. My artistic work is the reflection of this openness and this appetite, a kind of puzzle, a profusion of images, graphics and thoughts. My vision of the world is poetic, dreamlike, and intimately linked to my soul. Also, my universe shelters enigmatic, strange and wonderful creatures.

- Rosenstiehl, Agnes
Born in 1941 in Paris, from a family of artists, she continued her studies in music at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique while obtaining a degree in literature from the Sorbonne. Having become a mother, she began creating children's books and collaborated with many publishing houses. Fascinated by Egyptian antiquity, she always drew her characters in profile, used bold blocks of color and intertwined writing and drawing. She demonstrated a sustained interest in the French language, a subject she explored in many works, such as her Alphabets, or the Book of the French Language (illustrated by Pierre Gay). Her output has not stopped since 1968 and currently includes 130 titles. In 1995, Agnès Rosenstiehl received the Grand Prix de la Société des gens de lettres (SGDL) for children's books for Les Adverbes. Her archives are entrusted to the Institut mémoires de l'édition contemporaine (IMEC). Agnès Rosenstiehl has been translated into several languages (English, Japanese, Castilian, Catalan, Serbian, Dutch, Finnish and German).

Exit Door (Paper Book)
- Old, Christophe
Whatever the chosen form or genre, each book, for Christophe Vieu, responds to the need to affirm the power of words and imagination. His characters, prey to a world that constantly threatens to assimilate them, proclaim their singularity; they are deep down marked by the awareness of their difference. His works feed on this permanent conflict between two opposing forces, one of which wants to dissolve the other. The theater then becomes one of the possible places where the oppressed character can finally find freedom, set sail, and above all express himself. The dream of a fantasized life, desires of all kinds, the uncontrollable part, are superimposed on the images of reality, on its limits, to finally impose a kind of intermediate reality that exists only in the time and space of writing - or of representation - and which serves as a temporary refuge for the characters. It is to this very personal conception of literature and more broadly of art that this author invites us, who invents through his texts offbeat universes, both familiar and distant, but always imbued with poetry and which arouse fear and fascination in equal parts.

- Windal, Pierre-Marie
If he sometimes lacks education, the author does not lack education since he has a doctorate in business administration from the University of British Columbia which, as his name does not indicate, is a peaceful province of Canada. Like his hero, he was a professor, in this case a professor of marketing at the University of Sherbrooke, in the beautiful (and cold) province of Quebec, "Maudit Français". Back in France, he treated himself to a slice of Temps Modernes at a car manufacturer before creating a few years later a research and (good) marketing consulting company where he works today, at home, sheltered from the unpredictable reactions of the forces of progress.
God Does Not Like Civil Servants (eBook - PDF, ePub, Mobi)
- Zola, Gordon
This Franco-Norman, who has a better command of the language of Molière than that of the bocage, is a distinguished ethnologist... of whom? He doesn't yet know it, but his work across the world's populations leads him to write that there are two kinds of individuals: homo serius and homo deconnus... He unquestionably belongs to the second ethnic group. He lives in Paris with his cat and his three pet piranhas. A fan of textual abuse, he has already published eight detective novels at Léopard Masqué in the Guillaume Suitaume collection, as well as two historical-demented novels. He is also the designer and main author of the series Saint-Tin et son ami Lou which has earned him recognition from the courts (which he finds a little too physiognomistic). He is also a screenwriter, editor, composer, and director.
