Through the analysis of a corpus of eleven texts by Italian resistance fighters, compared with some of the main texts by resistance fighters, this work explores the images and discourses that constitute the various facets of the symbolization of the Italian Resistance in the feminine, between the demand for emancipation and the resurgence of traditional gender roles.
