"Terror in the candid Lande of Fit-ce-Monde: desecrated and bleached birds, bisquieres, washerwomen and peasant women all of grace and virtue bruised and murdered that beasts and cacodemons would do less harm to the heart. The people and gentes of the villages appeal to the only master worthy of hunting down such a terrifying gallows: the young, noble and handsome Prince of Maréfeuille. Following their just solicitation, the Prince assembles at the penny of the crown a troop to susse the monstraille and himself appoints Messire l'Arramance as the leader of said troop. La Bourriche arrives, a brute of a man but of the purest spirit, who out of fear for his sweet Isabeaude, wishes to join the slayer battalion. Alas, in a few days, La Bourriche discovers that neither l'Arramance, nor the Prince of Maréfeuille, know the true face of their false figure.

All this narrated in an outlandish Fit-this-World language that at first makes your head stink, but that over time you would believe it was frozen on the spot.
